Shredded Beef (Vn. 2.0)
Slow cooker recipe.
- Slow cooker liner goes in first.
- 16 oz. beef broth
- 3 TB dry garlic powder
- 3 TB ground ancho/pasilla chilis
- 1 TB ground cumin seed
- 1 TB ground Cayenne pepper
- 1 TB ground New Mexico chili
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 3-8 lb boneless beef chuck, cut into 3" chunks if possible (I used 8.7 lb)
- 1 cup diced onion (or large onion, chopped)
Cook for 12-24 hours on high until it falls apart when you poke it.
