Grenadine (Pomegranate Syrup)

  1. Bring 4 cups of pomegranate juice to a boil.
  2. Lower heat and simmer until it reduces in half, or less for thicker syrup. About 15 minutes.
  3. Add 2 cups of sugar and let it dissolve.
  4. Chill.
  5. Optional: add a little red food coloring.
