Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine baking mix, milk, cheddar cheese with a wooden spoon until soft dough forms. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Combine butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix bisquick, water and cheese. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. After baking, (while hot) brush on melted butter or margarine mixed with garlic powder, parsley flakes and italian seasoning. Amounts will vary by the size batch you make, but a little goes a long way. Serve hot.
NOTE: for a smaller batch use 2 C bisquick, 1/2 C Cold Water, and 3/4 C grated cheddar. This will make about 12 biscuits. You can also substitute soda water or gingerale for the water.
