This is the bread I'm making for Lynn's tastes.
Put the ingredients into your bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Use the settings for a large (1 1/2 lb.) loaf. Either let the machine do all the work, or just have it make the dough and then bake it in a greased pan at 350°F for 45 minutes. Or cut the dough in half and cook the two halves for 35-40 minutes.
*If you don't have instant non-fat dry milk powder, substitute milk for the water. When I'm making a lot of bread, I like to use the powder so I still have milk on hand for my cereal.
**I've been making a lot of simple syrup lately to use in homemade lemonade. 1 cup water boiled with 1 cup of sugar makes a little less than 12 oz. simple syrup.
