Light Whole Wheat Bread

"Light in texture, color, taste, and calories when sliced thin, this bread makes good tuna, chicken, egg salad, cold meat, or peanut butter sandwiches."
Small Loaf (1 lb.) Ingredients Large loaf (1 1/2 lb.)
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast 2 1/4 teaspoons
1 cup + 2 TABLESPOONS bread flour 1 2/3 cups
1 cup whole wheat flour 1 1/2 cups
1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons
1 TABLESPOON vegetable oil 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS
2 TABLESPOONS honey 3 TABLESPOONS
3/4 cup + 1 TABLESPOON water 1 1/4 cups
Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual [on my machine, that means yeast, dry ingredients, liquid] and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions.

[I made this the other night, to see if my bread machine still works. It does. It came out with a nice dark crusty crust, and good 'n chewy (more so than I expected given the "light" name).]
