Comedy

See also Novelty Songs. Artists which overlap "Comedy" and "Novelty Songs" where the album contains spoken bits as well as song, such as Monty Python and Stan Freberg, will be found under "Comedy." However, musical comics whose album is primarily composed of music, with some humorous intros/outros, like Tom Lehrer will be found under "Novelty Songs." Furthermore, having a sense of humor doesn't automatically make an artist a "novelty song" band. Big Daddy, The Rutles, They Might Be Giants, Trout Fishing In America, and Uncle Bonsai are all listed under pop music.
