Mom's Cucumber Salad

Peel and slice cucumbers (if they're from the garden, you only need to
pierce the skin). Salt and pepper between each layer of cucumbers. You can
put onions between the layers if you like.
Leave them for a couple of hours and then pour off the liquid.
Add olive oil and vinegar (nice ones are really cool): 1 part vinegar to 2
or 3 parts oil.
